HSK DIN 69893 Form Definitions - Form E & F

Type E and F with automatic tool change are also variations of type A and B. These forms are intended for extremely high speed machining. Design features such as drive slots, chip holes and orientation notch have been removed to help eliminate imbalance. As a result these forms are driven by the locking taper and is suitable only for light machining applications such as high speed metal cutting and woodworking machines.

Within form E there are (5) different shank sizes ranging from 25mm (.984) through 63mm (2.480) on the flange diameter. Form F has (2) shank sizes that are 50mm (1.969) and 63mm (2.480) diameter on the flange.
